|But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: but thou shalt utterly destry them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee: that they teach you not to do after their abomminations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the Lord your God.
|Dar din cetăţile acestui popor, pe care ţi le dă Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, ca moştenire, să nu salvezi nimic care să sufle; ci le vei nimici cu desăvârşire; și anume, hetiții și amoriții, canaaniții și periziții, heviții și iebusiții; așa cum ți-a poruncit Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, să nu te învețe să faci după urâciunile lor, pe care le-au făcut dumnezeilor lor și să păcătuiți împotriva Domnului Dumnezeului vostru.

|It is now seen that the divinely recorded drama revealed at this time is for the benefit of both the remnant and the “great multitude” and brings greater joy to each, and is additional reason for them to praise Jehovah and Christ Jesus.
|Se vede acum că drama înregistrată prin mijlocirea divinității și revelată în acest moment este atât în folosul rămășiței, cât și al „marii mulțimi” și aduce bucurie mai mare fiecăreia și este un motiv în plus pentru ca ei să-i laude pe Iehova și pe Cristos Isus.
